Young in Aleppo / شباب في حلب

Eva, Sarah and Abd grew up during Syrian devastating civil war, after the war they are searching for a life of their own, Away from the traditions and prejudices of the previous generation Sarah and Abd ultimately do not seek their future in Aleppo. They leave to build a new life elsewhere. Eva stays behind, she tries to make simple dreams come true. The first is learning to ride a bike. Girls who ride bicycles are a rarity in Aleppo. “To me, these girls have the courage of the heroes of the legends,” she says as she nervously ventures out onto the street with her bike for the first time.
